Uche Victor Mgbechi is a remote research assistant at the Athena Centre for Policy and Leadership, where he supports applied policy research in governance, security, education, and public sector performance. His work focuses on economic governance, public finance, and institutional effectiveness. Mr. Mgbechi’s research interests include the political economy of development and how policy design impacts state capacity and social outcomes in Nigeria. He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
